TASER^® International's newest product line for personal protection is the TASER C2.  The TASER C2 uses the same advanced technology as the Police model TASER devices, but with a reduced range and without the ability of adding the built in camera.

Wtih Police strength takedown capability, the Titanium Silver TASER C2 is both attractive and highly functional.

The TASER C2 is a self-defense electronic control device.  Electronic Control Devices (ECDs) use propelled wires to conduct energy to affect the sensory and motor functions of the nervous system.  In addition, the TASER C2 can be used as a direct contact stun device by simply removing the replaceable TASER cartridge and contacting an attacker directly.  The TASER C2 uses a replaceable TASER cartridge, containing compressed nitrogen, to deploy two small probes that are attached to the TASER C2 by insulated conductive wires with a maximum length of 15 feet (4.5 meters).  The energy can penetrate up to two (2) cumulative inches of clothing or one inch per probe.

The TASER C2 is not classified as a firearm by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.  This makes the TASER C2 legal to carry in most states without any special permitting, although you should check out our Stun Gun Laws page and with your state and local authorities prior to ordering.
